Yoga is not simply a physical exercise; it is an invitation to explore the gift of God's peace. The practices of yoga and meditation are an opportunity for embodied spirituality, an invitation for worship, growth, and self-discovery. No matter your age, size, experience, or stage of life, with your heart set on your Creator, your yoga and meditation practice can indeed become a holy practice. There is often a misunderstanding that the practice of yoga is a religion; it is not. Yoga is a spiritual discipline, much like prayer, fasting, and meditation.
